According to TVXQ’s official Japanese website, “Paradise Ranch” will air its first episode in May through the satellite broadcast network, SkyPerfectTV ‘DATV’.
With the help of TVXQ’s extraordinary popularity in Japan, SBS hopes to reach a wider audience and thus expand their influence in the Hallyu wave.
Before it airs, however, “Paradise Ranch” will hold their production conference and cast interviews over the months of February, March, and April.

Changmin trained hard for his nude scene in “Paradise Ranch”

Max Changmin trained his body for a month for his “nude” scenes in the SBS drama, ‘Paradise Ranch.’
A representative from SM Entertainment stated on January 27th through a phone interview with Sports Chosun, “Changmin only ate chicken breasts, sweet potatoes, and egg whites for a month to improve his body. His body was already good, but he worked to build up more muscles to show the viewers a better image.”
On the January 24th episode of the drama, much to the delight of many fans, Changmin acted out a scene in which he is almost entirely naked (save the important parts).
Changmin showed off his rock hard body through this scene, and the producers censored his private parts with cute hearts.
The representative explained, “After the broadcast, some people were wondering if he acted completely naked, but he was actually wearing a swimsuit. We filmed that scene early on, but Changmin did the naked scene without hesitation and had fun filming it with Lee Yeon Hee.”

Amber returns to f(x) through ‘Paradise Ranch’ OST

Amber of f(x) has officially made her comeback through the OST (soundtrack) ‘Can I Like You’ for the new SBS Monday & Tuesday drama ‘Paradise Ranch’ which was released earlier today.
‘Can I Like You’ is a song of one who has hid their true feelings for a crush. The loving lyrics and a refreshing melody mix well together as the ensemble between strings and brass make f(x)’s sweet voices stand out even more.
Last June, Amber was nowhere to be seen after injuring her ankle as she left for America. For a long while, she was swept in rumors of having left the group but was spotted in SHINee’s first concert, ‘The First Concert SHINee World,’ dismissing all rumors of withdrawals. However, it has been confirmed that Amber did not attend SM Town’s Japan concert.
Meanwhile, f(x) will be releasing their official 1st album and come back as 5 members within the first half of the year.

[Spoilers: Paradise Ranch] New drama is off to a positive start

After building up a high level of anticipation, SBS’s new drama, “Paradise Ranch“, finally aired its first episode on January 24th.
According to media analysts, AGB Nielsen Media, the drama’s pilot episode managed to record 9.7% in viewer ratings.
The pilot episode saw ‘Han Dongju’ (TVXQ’s Changmin) divorcing his wife, ‘Lee Daji’, (Lee Yeon Hee), after six months of marriage.  The drama then fast forwards six years, where they meet again. Unlike ‘Daji,’ who is ecstatic at seeing her partner once more, ‘Dongju’ remains indifferent and aloof.
Both received praise for their acting, as Changmin was said to have exceeded the expectations of many while Lee Yeon Hee displayed a more mature acting style compared to her former roles.
Viewers commented, “Changmin was really good,” “The drama seems fun, I hope it does well,” and“Changmin is so cute.”
